All Tumbling Practises will be all conducted at G.E/DECS Gymnasium.

All Stunts Practises to be held in MGS.
Mgs Official Stunts dates(28/12, 29/12, 30/12)

All Athletes required to turn up for practises unless travelling or not trying out for Squad 2011.

yes i know the blog is kinda dead.
kinda dead is also kinda like an under statement.
haha anyways... i was kinda hoping the new captain would save the blog.
and i also found out that that won't be happening in the near future.
so anyways, since nationals is coming, and we have been like slacking during the hols...
our trainings has been increased to four times a week(we have no life).
every monday,wednesday, friday and saturday.
weekday trainings will be from 2.45-5.30.
and saturday trainings will be from 8.45-12.00.
yeah, so please be on time and come for every training.
cuz there's not much time left till nationals.
but IF you can't make it, or will be late for some good reason..
please inform either suet or dion okay. (:

ohyeah, and good job to everyone during cca registration..
it was awesome... though i think some of them think we are like some crackheads or smth.
yeah, but anyways, welcome all the sec1s when they come for their first training on the 18th of jan okay.

these requirements are the minimal prerequisites that you will need to get into tryouts. the criteria can all be found in the last tab under... tryouts(quite obviously)
tryouts are gonna be on the 31st of august 2009(monday). and dion will pick the best of 12-16 people to compete in next year's nationals... so train hard and try your hardest! all the best!

i know our routine wasn't perfect and all. but we have all given our best for this nationals and we all did a good job. we must really thank dion for this really awesome routine he choreographed, because only he can come up with such an ass-kicking routine. he sacrificed countless nights coming up with this, and i know we cannot thank him enough for all he has done for us. but anyway thankyou dion eng pin hern for everything! :]

although it wasn't our best performance.
and it wasn't a perfect routine.
we tried our best!

we have come so far this year.
and we have put in our best effort.

but what matters is that we emerged champions at of the day.

we broke all barriers, overcame all obstacles and stood strong in adversities.

the mgdazzlers managed to take first runner-up and the best spirit award in the primary school division.

we really couldn't have done such an awesome job without our supportive parents who supplied us with ample of food to fill our tummies. our encouraging teachers mrs chan(secondary) and mrs ng(primary). dion, for without him, i really don't know what we would do. and ofcourse, our lord above, who have been watching over us and guiding us through this whole time.

join him as he raises funds for childhood cancer research.

On Friday 13 February 2009, Dr William Tan, neuroscientist and doctor, begins a 24-hour marathon of a different kind in MGS. Until Saturday 14 February, he will pull a specially-designed chariot carrier along the running track of the school field to raise funds for cancer research to help the children in Singapore and Asia.

The 24 hr marathon begins at 4 pm on Friday 13 February 2009 and ends at 4 pm on Saturday 2009 at the Methodist Girls’ School Sports Complex.

one day, we should have a big party. the kind where you just get a venue, snacks, drinks and its open for anyone to go. like friends friends and just anyone. at all. we could charge. maybe not. it'll be cool but i highly doubt we have the time or resources for such a party. haha.

ok back to reality. I'll bring a movie and we can do stuff (: nationals is pretty soon. when school starts so will training... cant wait!

but the exams are finally over!
and it's been like forever since the last training.

hello!
there's no more training! >=( there won't be anymore training till the end of EOYs, so we all can study. but please do your workouts daily, so that we won't go 'rusty' when we go back for training, when exams are over. you can practice at home when you're taking a break from studying. haha but do study hard for EOYs, and try your best & do well! and after that we will all take a well deserved break during the december holidays!
and when our exams are over we will know the results of tryouts! all the best to everyone! can't wait to start on the new nationals routine! we're gonna kick ass next year! haha. anyway, can't wait till EOYs are over. but we have to get down to our studies now. all the best for the exams!

HELLO!

min and xiang here! posting right after the absolutely LOVELY party! thanks all who came, for those who didn't you missed out. on the great food and great fun. AT NO COST!

mashed potatoes, wedges with melted cheese, nuggets, spaghetti, fishballs, chicken wings, salad (specially for nicole who didnt go!!! --nobody ate it), punch!, chicken soup, and waffles and ice cream! and a mango and choc cake for dion and candy! HAPPY BDAY YOU TWO!

we watched bring it on 3 (all or nothing) and the teachers actually took it quite well! like the middle fingers and blablah. they laughed. (esp 'I cheer for your father every night!')

we also watched the video that xiangie made! :D it was really cool. and funny! she'll post it up next time because i have to go home soon ): she also planned this really weird but funny robot-y entrance for the seniors and dion/crystal. haha (: THEY ALL LOOKED SO SCARED AND SHOCKED! it was really hilarious both for them and us (: it was so funny. we have videos and stuff so we'll try to upload them (:

everyone had so much fun tonight (: even the teachers and dion and crystal! it really wasn't that bad with the teachers (: they were really sporting and they were very supportive and they didnt nag at us or anything!!! THANKS TEACHERS!!! too bad that mrs ho couldn't come because of her bad sorethroat): GET WELL SOON MRS HO!

hopefully after the exams we can have more parties like this!!! AND EVERYONE CAN COME! :D and we have to meet up with the seniors too!!! awesomeness :D

After the teachers left we watched the cool nationals videos for 06 and 07. we saw dion's performance! uber cool!

and even though i was kinda against the theme for the party today, i must say that it was in fact really cool and awesome and funny! :D everyone else also found it cool and had loads and loads of FUN!!! :D

well all good things come to an end. we'll really miss ya seniors! you too nic. ( who is prob. not gonna read this) we totally understand that you are studying and wish you all the best! good luck, but you better come after Os for all our cool parties!!! owe you your presents!

whooo.. i'm tired. haha since the week before hols i've been so busy, first with aloud then the cheer party, well all the work was certainly worth it! its all over now and tomorrow will be a day to actually relax a bit. and after that i'll kick into SUPER MUGGING! for EOYS. (hopefully, i'll try) you guys try do the same too ok? deal! we all study hard and prove to everyone that cheerleaders are SMART. yeah! its easier said than done, but we try ok. you know whats a good technique to make sure you study? plan and write down exactly what you'll do (study or work stuff) for each day till exam. that way you sorta keep to schedule better. thats how i crammed lastyr, the weekend before EOYS. yup. but start early. i shall do my plan tomorrow

no cheer for long time! practice at home when u take a 5 min break frm studying. LOVE YA ALL!

hey if you didn't know, the party is held on the 2nd of september(tuesday), at singapore polytechnic, from 5-8, but you can ask your parents to come later.(hinthint)

travel/travel_id_8212/travel_site_10659/5/. the restaurant is called food haven. if you get lost you can call suet/xiang.
please remember to bring your already decorated headband, and dress according to theme-which is ROBOTS!!!(don't tell the seniors about the theme!) but if you don't have anything, just try your best and wear whatever you want. at most you can use aluminium foil! hahaha! =D
